My idea I guess to chose what games you want to show you're playing. As example I'm listening to Spotify and playing game and it shows the game you're playing, you cant really chose that it would show that you're listening to Spotify instead of playing game.

I agree, I genuinely feel violated if i remove EXEs, tell discord I am not interested in it scanning my games, and then two days later discord scans for all my game EXEs so I have to remove them again.

There is always an sdk for developers so that there game is displayed nicely when a user is playing it.
Spotify does take advantage of that sdk to display what someone is playing like so

I think what he means is that if you are playing a game whilst listening to Spotify, he would like it to display both your presences. However great the idea may seem, practically it may take up like 80% of the screen just to display both of the presences

There does need to be an option to fully disable the scanning of any running process.
I prefer Discord as a chat client, I don't need (or want) the excess stuff that only bogs it down.

I find it more than disappointing that Discord is lumping a request to disable monitoring with this post which does not mention such. This poor community management is a detriment to the development of Discord as software.

So i see such a simple task is impossible for discord devs.
Game Activity:
New Global Toggle - Default settings for newly added games: Positions On\Off
Option that will determine whatever new game will have it's own toggle in On\Off position.
New additional Toggle per game in Game Activity list, next to Overlay Toggle, which will determine if game will be shown in status or not.

Having the same problem with this and tried to block Synergy.exe. You would think they would resolve this by now...

Solved this issue temporarily by renaming the .exe to Syn instead of Synergy. Go to C:\Program Files\Synergy and rename Synergy.exe to Syn.exe or what ever you want. This is obviously not gonna work long term because a patch or reinstall will undo this..
