  We use Discord at work in place of Skype/Slack/etc and the only regular complaint anyone has is that Discord is always pushing their games store and it makes it look unprofessional for a work environment. If we could just configure Discord to startup in a particular server, it would work great as a work chat tool.

  I still use teamspeak just because of this feature and only go to discord for some particular game channels information. If they implement this, it will make teamspeak completely obsolete and would make discord awesome, being just good atm, imo.

  Your users have literally been asking for this for years. I'm guessing it's not very hard to implement. So the only conclusion is you don't want to implement this.
