Why can't I remove Discord?

So I've tried to log on discord from my PC, it didn't open. It said I should go to two folder called "%appdata%" and "%localappdata%"and delete Discord folder in each folder.
I did exactly as the article said but it keeps saying that the file cannot be deleted because it's still in use, but it's not used or even opened.
I need help, ASAP!!
