Collectors' Badges (Suggestion)

Hey, Discord!

As per now, there are a few badges. They range from the available-to-all HypeSquad badges to the less common Bug Hunter or Partner badges. These badges are great, but I believe Discord would greatly benefit from creating more badges for the community to collect. It adds another fun aspect to Discord and rewards users for completing various - but difficult - tasks.

For instance, community members that have gone above and beyond to help the Discord community could receive a badge as a thank you for their contributions. These badges would be given out to, for example, our hard-working bot creators like the creator of Mee6, Tatsumaki, and other bots that have vastly impacted our experience using Discord.

Additionally, individuals who have actively contributed through other means can also receive a reward; those who actively catch & report users breaking the Terms of Service, and people who have assisted Discord by providing their feedback and input on new updates and future ideas.

Some other badge concepts that are more broadly achievable. For instance, badges for those who have stayed within this community for long extensions of time, users that have achieved, for instance, (1,000+) users on their server, and so forth. Limited badges would also be a neat implementation.

We don't want an overflow of badges, but a fair selection of badges to make your Discord experience more vibrant & fun won't hurt. All concerns that apply to these types of badges are relevant to the pre-existing Bug Hunter badges - so I see no large issue in implementing these new badges.
