Ability to move webcams in video chat calls.

it would be amazing if we could move the video's of people within discord when in a call. i play D&D with multiple people and when we have an odd number of people, having one person double the size who is the only one in the call without a camera makes no sense whatsoever, and it would be awesome to move someone like our DM into that position instead of the no-cam. it currently also seems random, or based somehow off group join order, but its different person by person.

    Yes, I would love this feature so much. I would immediately switch to using discord for all of my needs if this were the case. Especially if I could assign each "spot" on the layout to a certain person in the group call.

    I love this idea. It is honestly so annoying when there is a no-cam in the center taking up a huge majority of the screen. Also, when in a full-screen video call with two other friends (three in total) each person's box(?) is small and discord is only using one third of the screen for it. All three cameras are in a horizontal line, when there could be one person on the top half of the screen, and two on the bottom half.

    I would really love it, I always have in the center with the large screen the only one that doensn't have a webcam, and I would like to have the master in that spost.

    I can not stress enough the huge advantage of having a 'locked template' would be for streaming.  For any stream layout, we have to capture a Discord (or other) window, and crop each webcam.  If on our custom stream layout we have names, or special masking, a single disconnect/join throws the order (and sizing) out for all webcams in the stream layout.  For instance:

    If someone joins like Bonez/Pennian, all those webcams except the streamer will go out of place and sizing, forcing a manually resizing live on stream. =/

    I'm honestly gobsmacked that for a software that is just mostly by streamers and gamers, that this STILL isn't a thing years later. It's absoloutely frustrating to not just lock a template togeter, I really don't understand the reasoning behind it, even if it was like a "max 9 people per call" thing where each participant is assigned a spot. If a programme can learn to adjust positioning and size as people leave and join, then surely it can go "hey, this person left, maybe I won't just shift everyone over".

    I would love this option to lock cameras layout or being able to get an URL to set up each and every user camera as video source.
