allow searching for emojis in search

At the moment, you cannot type an emoji into the search box in order to search for people using that emoji.

1. You can't search by when a specific emoji was used. I can't do a search for :wink: since it just brings up the actual word "wink" instead of the emoticon emoji
2. searching by the actual ASCII character (on windows use Windows+; or copy a discord emoji after sending it with a \ before it) returns no results

There's also a bit of a bug if you accidentally try.

You can't delete ASCII emojis once typed in the search bar. Can't Ctrl+X, backspace, or delete them. That's just a general bug. You can close the search and they'll be gone when reopened. That's the only way to delete them atm.

    Somewhat related: if a user has a unicode username that for some reason does not display properly on your system (the infamous 'unavailable character squares'), you can't just copy/paste and search for those either.

    I support this. In some cases it can help organise your content beyond the function that pinned posts provide. You could define search categories that would search posts by content or intent by including a particular emote but independent of the channel without having to build a bot.

    Apprently the admins are busy with other work, discord is a big platform and many things need regulations, this might not be an important feature or something that they want. That being said How long until they add it :(

    +1, this is definitely still something we need. Crazy that discord could add both search and emojis without thinking of how those features interact at all
