This already exists for Windows and Android. I'm unsure if it exists on the web application, Apple mobile app, and Apple desktop app, but I assume they would also have it.

In the Windows desktop app, hit @ at the top right of the window.
In the Android mobile app, open the hamburger sidebar, hit @ at the bottom near your picture and name.

eccos Comment misses the point I think.  This is a needed feature for me as well.  Clicking on the @ at the top right shows all the mentions across all the servers and yes I can filter that or whatever but it takes a bunch of extra clicks.

What seems intuitive and what I keep trying to do but it doesn't work is click on the little red circle with a 1 in it and I expect that to jump to the mention.  Instead nothign happens, I click on the @, see a whole bunch of mentions from all the servers I'm subscribed to and then decide the mention probably isn't that important anyways and just click "Mark all as read" to get rid of the notification.  Could I put in more effort and find the mention? Probably.  But if I'm doign this then a ton of other users who are less willing to submit feedback probably are as well.

The fact that the @ symbols shows all the mentions across all the channels on the server seems a bit weird too.  If I'm looking to figure out where the mention is on a particular channel with that notification it shouldn't be this difficult.

I think I found a pretty simple way the gets the same results. If you just go into the search options in the text channel ( or just press CTRL F idk what it is for mac) you can just do mentions then your username if you have it as only shows pings from mentioning you.

thFisher86, I totally agree with you. In addition, I go to the specific channel with the mention filled a bunch of messages and start to either scroll down slowly until I find the mention or click "Jump to present" and lose the mention somewhere in those messages. There should be an option next to "Jump to present", such as "Jump to mention".

DaBABY, I tried that a few times but sometimes servers have specific roles you are assigned to, and every time someone mentions a role you are assigned to, you are also mentioned. Therefore you couldn't know what role to search for. But yes it is practical to find mentions of your specific username.
