Emailing clan using the Discord server we use
One of our members pointed out they never visit Discord unless they know there is a battle event going on.
He wants an Email message sent to him as they wont be in Discord if they are at work etc (and indeed all our 70+ membership :(
I tried this once before, sending individual personal messages in the game regarding times the clan wanted play; it took me days and I don't want to do that ever again.
So does Discord have an Email feature for members of a group to send cc messages like 'clan wars started this week' or The "game has a special going on".

I appreciate that, which is why I don't want them on my PC, or know what they are in any way shape or form. If I did I could cc the members with Outlook.
I am happy if Discord holds all details and just lets me ask Discord to mail shot clan events. They already do that with random chat in the forum. Such a service might be in the T&C of using our server?

You can use bots, like MailChimp to integrate to both the servers and subscribed people on MailChimp.
I may be wrong about the MailChimp Bot since i haven't tested it out personally, but you can use Discord Bots and their services as an advantage. :)0 -
ok thanks, I get the picture. :)
Our member will just need to spend time visiting the discord forums if they want clan updates
