    I've been thinking about having a similar thing. 
    I am so many different Discords, which i am trying to categorize into different themes, as I am using Discord in various different ways. 
    So my question is, are your idea something similar as categorizing Discord servers?

    In this sense you could indeed use it that way,
    personally I just have some groups Id like to hide from immidiate sight because if it's too over saturated then my discord looks cluttered / messy
