Move channel to another server

It is a great option to move channels to another server, when you decide to create a server for special purpose, but you already have some channels and don't want to delete and lost chats and history.
Or may be copy all the content to channel placed on another server.

    that would be really awesome

    my friend had a discord server he made in like june of 2020 and then when he created his minecraft server he made another discord for it in like september of that year

    then the mc server was shut down january this year and now both servers are super dead and i think the best thing would be to take the channels from one of the servers and move them into the other one if possible, sadly it's not, idk why discord never took this suggestion it would be really useful, there would be like permission issues but in a friend server they're not too catastrophic and rlly easy to fix

    We really need this now as we need to split our server into two, as the current one is getting too big for what we wanted to manage. Can we ask if the Discord team has any plans on building this feature or not?

    Gosh, PLEASE just allow moving of a channel to a new server. Because ... Why not??? Just like One Note - you can move a tab in One Note to another Document entirely! : )

    Imagine...

    You're doing searching for a guide on how to do something in an app you use every day for personal and work tasks.  Imagine seeing a result named "Move channel to another server" and "discord.com" at the top of the list.

    Great!

    Now imagine being utterly crushed to discover that that shiny link isn't sending you to a helpful guide written by the app's developer on how to use the feature, but a community forum post full of frustrated users hoping and praying that after 4 years of asking (once every ~6-7 weeks in fact), the company (valued at $7 billion in 2021) would finally decide to set aside some dev-time to implement it.

    Not So Great!

    Discord: "...but... you can change the app color now! Isn't that what you've always wanted?!"

    Yes, please, yes. I'm an admin over a handful of servers with thousands of people and have a project on the table to start merging. It would be amazing to right-click on a category/channel and have Discord do the leg work of seamlessly transferring it to my main server.
