Overlay Text to Speech accessibility

I have a few friends that don't talk weather it be from preference or inability, the common issue with gaming with them is that they have to switch to the discord app in order to type into a channel, and I have to read it, let alone notice it, while we are playing games together.

I think a feature that allows someone to replace their microphone functionality with a text to speech pop up would be a cool concept. Instead of using a push to talk, they could probably use a similar hotkey to open a text input using the discord overlay that would then play text to speech over their microphone to everyone in their discord channel. This would give them an easier time communicating with me and my friends that use microphones, and could really help a lot of others maybe too shy to talk.
