Collapsing Channels - Option to Not Collapse Channels That Aren't Muted
An extra collapse channel option so you can mute channels that you don't read, but still collapse the channel category with unmuted channels still visible when you do it.

I'm not sure if it's quite clear what this is asking for (from a developer standpoint) but I'm pretty sure this is the request I came here to post so I'm gonna try to state it in another way so it's more likely to be clear.
When you mute a channel, you generally don't want to see it again (but might change your mind). The only way to hide muted channels currently is to collapse the category, but this also has a side effect of hiding channels that are not muted when no new/unread messages are in them. It is often desirable to view channels with no new messages, either to post there or to remember the last thing said (among other reasons) but this is unrelated to muted servers. There is a particular channel that makes me scroll through a list of muted channels in order to post in it because it is in a large category of varied channels.

So, Manoekin (and anyone else who finds this),
It's possible now to hide muted channels, on a server-by-server basis. On desktop, right click the server and find the checkbox that says "Hide muted channels."
The only thing that's missing from this feature is that I may want to still display certain muted channels (for instance, ones that are for bot commands), but it's a huge step up from before, and it's no big deal because you can generally just un-hide the channels, go to the muted channel you're looking for, and then hide them again when you're done.

This seems close to something I was thinking of. Quite often I find there is a category I don't want to mute at all but I do want to collapse .. except that one channel I keep coming back to. So it would be great to have a channel option of 'never collapse' or some such. That would greatly save time having to un-collapse the category and scan down for the channel I want where I have these regularly used channels in big categories.
