ability for sound sharing

I have a simple idea I want to share, the idea is that when you minimized the screen of discord you will not be able to hear the sound sharing. OR made a mute button for it
why?  
example; I am in a group with three people and their name is "Dan, Harry and pat"
Dan wants to stream until he goes to bed, he plays puppies royal with the sound sharing so harry and pat will hear it too, but I'm doing homework and I want to keep have a chat with these buddies but I Cannot concentrate with the heavy metal from the stream.
