Technical trouble; computer sounds playing through microphone

No matter what input I chose my microphone to be, sounds from my computer are broadcasting internally into the mic. Sounds from whatever game I'm playing, my music, anything I play when I tab out, even the sounds of other people's voices when they talk in Discord.
I unchecked "listen to this device" under my sound settings, so it looks like the problem is unique to discord.
Anything to fix this would be helpful, thanks in advance.
