Currently you can't mute @here even if the channel is muted.

  Yes you can, if you go into notification settings you can mute @here but you will also be muting @everyone as well.

  It's so friggin' annoying. If a channel is muted, *we almost certainly don't want to see any @here or @everyone notifications from it, either.*

  I mute channels because I never want to receive any notifications from that channel, I don't mute others that I do want to receive them. But people periodically let everyone know of a channel update with an @here, and I receive that notifcaition even if that channel is muted. 

   

  I cannot mute every @here because I need to receive important notifications in non-muted channels. Muting should mute ALL notifications whatsoever spawned from that channel.

  Second this. I want to get @here notifications for channels that I haven't muted. I don't want to get @here notifications for channels I have muted.

  Yeah, I want to be able to configure @everyone/@here notifications per channel instead of only being able to configure that per server.

  I would also like to mute @here, or any other @ mentions in a specific channel. I have the channel itself muted, and the "Notification Settings" set to "Nothing". One of the options is "Only @mentions", which should presumably include @here; why does "Nothing" mean "Nothing and @here"?
