Greater-than symbol formatting messages
My friends and I like to use the greater-than symbol, >, to reference images or previous quotes from people.
Example
>Aris is commentating
nice
A recent update changed the formatting so it changes the message's formatting to:
| Aris is commentating
nice
and the message appears like an embedded link.
Is there a way to change back to how it was before? I am in a few different servers where the new update has sort of stopped us from using ">" to refer back to what people say.

Hi!
You can use the backslash mark \ before the "greater-than" sign. This "escapes" text meaning that it makes Discord to do not consider the sign as a text formatting instruction. This works for other symbols that are used for text formatting in Discord (*, _, ~, `. |).
