Don't clear custom status after relog
Even if I have my custom status set to "Don't Clear", it will still be deleted every time I close Discord and open it again (which I do all the time as I turn off/on my computer every day). This is annoying because I don't want to change my custom status every single day so I wish I didn't have to retype it every time I sign into Discord. I don't use the custom status to actually describe what I'm doing, I just like to write something funny in it, and I like to keep it the same for several days in a row. I would like it if the most recent status I typed would simply remain in place until I actively choose to change it.

I wonder why Discord didn't fix it. I know it's not big deal but it's annoying!
I don't think that fixing a glitch like this isn't hard. This is why it's weird. A year has passed and we still have the same problem. I hope they will fix it asap.

same here. i just check in every morning or few hours and hit any of the other options so the status will stay another 24 hours because it's not just "don't clear" that does that.

I don't turn my computer off a lot (sometimes even at night) and when I wake up the next day my status is gone even when I set it as "don't clear"

Pretty much just reiterating what everyone else has said, but I have the same problem on mobile. I have to mess around with my online status just to get it to show up again, and no matter how many times I select "don't clear" and reopen the app, it just switches back to "clear tomorrow". The fact that this thread is like a year old and it still hasn't been fixed for some people is ridiculous.

JESUS I have this EXACT SAME PROBLEM! every time! Whenever I go back to the thing it switches back to "today!" IT ALWAYS CLEARS! FIX THIS PLEASE DAMNIT

Been having this problem for a long time myself on Discord. I'm a tablet user, so no idea if this will work for other platform users...
When you set your custom status, and choose for it to not clear after x hours, sometimes it will not show up under your name? Try toggling your actual status from "Online" to "Idle" or "offline" after you enter & save your custom status. Every time I do this my custom status pops back up. This has been working for the past few days, it's still annoying, but it's alot easier than re-entering it all the time.

Guys just click the debug button at bottom of user settings. That should work! Worked for me

Mine literally just WON'T show up. No matter what I try, updates, force stop, cashe clear, debug, logout, reinstall, nothing works.

Everyone of you have the same problem, even me. We gotta keep complaining, because these many complaints are not getting attention too. Maybe spamming the entire forum works.

The status problem started today for me it's keep moving to "Clear by tomorrow" Which is annoying cuz I said "Don't clear" I have tried everything "force stop" the app still not working
Also discord been lagging a lot they need to fix it please 🙏😭

Yep, same for me. It didn't happen until I switched from iPhone to android and when I put a custom status it doesn't even show under my username! Its so irritating!

I'm having the same problem with my custom status on my phone but not my laptop for a year. They really need to fix this problem. And I have my custom status on "Don't clear" and it still clears it!

it's absolutely ridiculous that this problem hasn't been fixed. it was working fine for me a few months ago, but now it's being ridiculous. even when i save my custom status on 'don't clear,' it automatically reverts back to 'clear after today' whenever i click on it. very annoying!
if anyone has a solution...

This problem occurred for me when I changed my old custom status to a new one. I keep putting it on "Don't clear" and it would just revert back to "Today"

Yea. It worked for me before on mobile but now it just disappears even after going back in like 3 minutes later. Even though it is set to don't clear. Works fine on PC though. Regardless it is still pretty annoying.
