Discord's Thematic & Interface

Hello, and a good morning to you reader. I am going to be short and specific with this feedback of mine, it is about Discord's interface as the title suggested. The '' Light Theme '' is very much flawed, and cannot be used the way it is. For one, there is this duality going on with the colors which I wondered if it was made by mistake or design... But in any of the cases it is certainly ugly, to say the least.
And the background and font color cannot be the way they are, the background appears to be a white with a luminescence level of 255', which is absurdly white and harmful to our eyes, and the font a grey with the luminescence level of 50' to 40' at best, which is just simply terrible once again for our eyes, because such degree of white cannot blend with such a light grey and still be readable, you see.
Please fix this, the dark theme is not pleasant to me and probably many others, and because of those flaws I am afraid we do not have an alternative to it like we have with Apple's iMessage, Facebook Messanger, Microsoft's Skype, among others.
