Allow Role Mentioning (or just additional text) in Channel Following Posts

I currently use a bot that reads RSS feeds that then pings certain roles depending on which RSS feed gets printed to the channel. For example, I have an RSS feed for Dead By Daylight and an associated role `dbd-news` that some users have opted to apply to themselves. So when a new RSS publication for Dead by Daylight news gets posted, it pings the role @dbd-news so that the users who opted into that role get notified of the news.

What I would like is for that same role/user tagging ability when it comes to Channel Following. For example, I am following the official Borderlands news server/channel which gets sent to a channel in my server. When there is news posted, I'd like it to act similarly to the above where it tags a particular role that users have opted into so that those users get notified of news.
