Custom sticker packs
Couldn't find a post about this yet.
I especially want to be able to upload my own images to make a personal sticker pack like on Telegram.

I think custom sticker should be locked to nitro and can only be created on server that has been boosted to level 1 (or on dm). This way, you can also put some stickers for everyone's use(free) [I'm not asking to put all the stickers free].
Just as emojis, nitro users could use custom sticker everywhere, even if the server hasn't been boosted.

Discord unrolled sticker packs and they are not custom. That just makes them big emoji and nobody ever wanted that. Almost every single comment here is about the desire for CUSTOM sticker packs, like Telegram has. In fact, if Discord had custom sticker packs, I'm pretty darn sure that a ton of people would migrate from Telegram. Just saying.
Discord, pay the eff attention.

I agree with the previous statements as well — custom stickers and/or custom sticker packs are an absolute necessity if you’re going to be bringing sticker functionality to the platform. If you made it Nitro-only, that alone will probably bring in an influx of people who are willing to get a Nitro subscription for it.
However, by charging for sticker packs, you risk losing existing Nitro members. I understand that Apple makes bank off of their stickers, sure, but allowing for custom stickers and/or custom sticker packs is something that would see more profit (and benefit) from being Nitro-only than having some pay-per-pack purchasing model, not to mention it’d be much more popular with the community.
Also, if you don’t allow for custom stickers, I’m going to set the entire internet on fire and probably cry. A lot. And not the cute kind of cry, I mean like ugly gross crying.

Suuuuper agree. Having the ability to make (AND BUY!!) custom sticker packs would be so amazing!

Custom stickers can also allow for further monetization and self-providing entrepreneurs, which is something I really want to see more on on Discord.
Besides my long descriptive part before about boost rates going to server owners/platform providers given the incentive and promotion we constantly & indirectly keep up for Discord, custom stickers are another thing that can allow for Discord to finally give back to content creators who already are making Discord as enticing as it is, aka. making people stay and invest into Discord.
I genuinely hope that this not only sounds like a no brainer to you guys reading but also to Discord as an overall business. They want to keep this freemium platform for people to build their way up on, and this is one of the microfields within Discord that can allow for so much to happen. The fruition and possibility for not only Discord to be much more alluring, but also give back to their platform/content creators is an important stepping stone for the medium's/platform's future imo.

Without the option to create custom sticker packs, the stickers are useless to me and just like the emojis.
Enabling artists to sell sticker packs would be amazing.2 -
I definitely need to second that being able to create your own stickers is a must have. Even if it's just for a server or something like that.

I don't think I need to repeat most of what people have said - custom stickers good, no custom stickers useless, everyone should have static stickers, animated ones for nitro etc.
My main thought is that I cannot believe for a minute that a developer at Discord working on the sticker feature didn't think about custom stickers themselves already. Scratch that. I don't believe for a minute that any Discord employee familiar with the concept of stickers wouldn't have thought about custom stickers.
It wouldn't shock me if this is a trial to see how it goes with the intent of making custom ones available. I just don't see how this kind of feature would get released without the idea of custom stickers being a must-have being discussed at more than one stage of the planning, development, article writing and advertising of this feature.

Adding to the agreement that custom stickers are what would make stickers worthwhile. Add those and I'll likely start using Discord more than Telegram.
