Upload mp4 profile pictures with nitro subscription

I find it strange that I am not permitted to upload an mp4 file as my profile image having subscribed to nitro. Gif is a very dated format and is considerably less space efficient than mp4.

Please add support for this file fomat when uploading an animated profile image!

    Well, why would mp4's be needed when gifs are already very accessible and if you still don't have much video time to put into your profile picture why use mp4.

    Well to give you an example, I took a 2 and a half MB mp4 file with stereo sound (I hadn't removed it yet) and converted it into a gif.

    The gif was 36 MB and still managed a worse framerate and colour depth.

    MP4 is a standard that has been continuously improved for two decades while gif hasn't been touched since 1989.

    Besides, adding the ability to upload mp4 files wouldn't disallow people from continuing to upload gifs as they always did.
