Go Live Lack of Settings
It's unfortunate that Go Live doesn't have settings exposed in regard to how Discord is performing the capture. This is particularly important for eGPU users in which it's beneficial to have the stream captured by the CPU instead of at the GPU, where the bus is the obvious bottleneck.
For example, with OBS, I can capture using the CPU (software) without dropping any frames and with negligible performance loss, whereas when using an eGPU, capturing with NVENC causes upwards of an 18% frame loss due to the bottleneck of the bus and an insane drop in framerame.

The workaround I found is this: Go to Voice & Video settings and disable OpenH264 Video Codec - this will disable hardware accelerated video encoding (i.e. GPU encoding) and should force Discord to encode streaming with software (CPU encoding).
