Why a channel needs "Everyone" join permission to be displayed in Server Widget?

Hi all,

as i can see now, if you want to create a server with "private channels" they won't be displayed in the Server Widget. Reason, i removed group "Everyone" from this channel. The only chance to make a channel visible in the Server Widget is to grant "join" permission for group "Everyone".

Yes, permission to speak can be removed for this group. Then they are not allowed to speak. But everyone is able to hear.... :(

So, i kindly ask to make it possible to display all channels in the Server Widget if i want to do that. Like in Teamspeak. There you just create a "Server Query" user which has the permission to query the whole server and bring all channels to the server status plugin. :)
