One of my favorite functions of skype. Is the ability to leave a voice clip in dm. Would love to see this feature on discord

  This is my and my friends best way to chat in other Chat Apps (Messenger/Viber/Skype), it's sad that Discord doesn't have it, I hope they add this feature soon.

  I would like to be able to leave voice clips in DM's as well; I've a friend in Australia (I'm in US) who I communicate with mostly through Discord and voice clips would add a personal touch when we're unable to coordinate live.

  Thanks guys for replying. Yes, voice clips seem more personal. I like having the feel of being "human". Lol
  Getting lost in the world of text all the time feels too cyborg-y.
  Also, getting into mic sessions isn't always convenient, especially with time zones.
  Voice clips however, give that option to leave some quick notes and move on

  I would like they implant this today then tomorrow it should be a basic function in my opinion. Already saw suggestions since 2017 and today still not implanted. This is the reason I am replying today.

  One of my favorite features from MSN back in the day. If Microsoft could have it 10+ years ago, why not Discord now?
