Unnecessary clutter on the screen

I saw a couple of posts about this earlier in the year when Go Live was released, but have not seen any answers about it yet.

Why is there no way to disable the Go Live button? It is unnecessary clutter on my screen, I am never going to use it, and it really annoys me that I see it appear/disappear every time I open/close a game.

I get that it is only one thing for now, but I feel it sets a dangerous precedent for more and more uncontrollable bits of UI being added.
