The scroll default

When I click on a chat channel I would prefer the scroll be defaulted to the bottom (most recent) not the top (start of channel). Discord is the only platform I've seen do this and I hate it. I literally have to drag the scroll to the bottom just to see the recent posts every single time. Horrible. At least have the option?
