To communicate with others in VC without flooding text channels, though silly, I think this would make communication interestingly more convenient and creative.
Next to the player's name in the voice channel, you would have a small box, an emoji box. A sort of reaction via VC. You could express laughter in the case someone is telling a funny story, without interrupting the other player. Or if you're muted, (self-muted for this example) you could display your reactions to the conversation. (to at least be a part in some way)
You would express the reaction with an additional button in the "Voice Connected" box. (or somewhere else, this is the most convenient sensible place I could find) Once clicked, It would display the same emoji selector that appears in the text channels, awaiting for you to select an emoji to display your voiceless reaction.
- I think the sensible display time for these VC reaction boxes would be around 2.3 seconds maximum.
- The example image at the top is just for reference, sizes and placement isn't too good.
- The reactions are only visible to those in the voice channel and those who join the voice channel prior to the first appearance of a reaction.
