You were great, but now I feel too old to use you.

I use discord for pretty much 1 person. The only friend I really care to interact with. Discord has been great for that, and we've shared a lot together with it, but recently, it's preventing us from sharing in the ways we were allowed to before.

It seems like the more features, bells and whistles you add, the more it becomes functionally broken to be friends with my friend at its core. We watched a lot together when Rabb.it was up, and when that went down, Discord was there for us. I could share my screen and audio, but that slowly stopped working once you introduced the new streaming feature. That also does not capture audio, and my screen share no longer captures audio ever. So now we have two options and both are functionally broken, when the one served us perfectly.

We've been having troubles connecting voice and video to each other, and some days, we just give up entirely, just as we have with screen share. We don't use it anymore.. we just post pictures. You gave us these wonderful tools to help share with each other, and have taken them back away as you focus on trying to be an Everything App. Which is great. Aspire to make Discord the end all medium for gamers, or hell, computer users in general.. but with each feature added, a core feature has been broken between me and my friend.

We try looking up solutions, but they've been problems for ever and we can't fix them ourselves.. So we've given up a lot of what made our friendship so special. I can't help but complain because I see you growing too fast, and it's clear you can't keep up, but you keep trying to add the next new while breaking the old of what made Discord great in the first place. This is all a personal experience, and I've truly given up on looking at your updates, because you go months and months without even a mention of what has been broken for us(and even claiming to have fixed them, but made it worse for us) because you keep adding new features we don't use or care about. Desktop app says to move call here from phone? It's not even a button. It doesn't do anything. We need to end call entirely and many times, discord forgets we can communicate to each other with our microphones after we've established a new connection and spend 15 minutes fucking around just trying to hear each other again!

I just want to connect with my friend as you let me in the beginning, but you're broken.

I don't even know where to post this. I even wandered into the wrong discord and was kindly redirected here because even discord doesn't have it's own discord fucking lol.

Thank you for allowing my friend and I to connect in so many ways, but by god you're getting to be frustrating to deal with.
