The lack of the message preview
Dear Discord Android Development Team.
Recently we have got a new update, providing major changes to how your application looks like and how it behaves. I won't go deep into some other bad design decisions, because I believe we all will get used to the latest UI sooner or later, but I do need to point out probably the worst change in the latest UI overhaul. The preview of a currently displaying message. Where is it?
I know, it got replaced by Quick Reaction menu, but why? You just totally removed one of the crucial features of your application, making it a lot harder to read or navigate. I have no idea what message I am viewing at the time and if I don't accidentally delete someone's message. I can't even check the name of an emote somebody sent me, because it's just impossible to check now. What is the reason of such drastic and major change, which breaks the whole experience? The application, which was supposed to be easy to read actually became harder now. I don't think there's a reason to take the whole space of message options just for Quick Reaction menu. The preview of the message would still fit in! So why did it eventually get removed?
Sincerely,
A Discord Android App user.
