clicked a fake nitro link that read "dlscord" instead of "discord". what now?
old acquaintance sent me a link saying it had free nitro. i stared at it for a while before coming to the false conclusion it was legit. clicked the link, it brought me to a site that looked exactly like discord and pretty legit. it asked me to sign in, so i clicked the button and nothing happened. then i realized the link was off, went "oh shit," closed it, changed my discord password, and now i'm doing a full scan. could it steal my discord even though i changed my password? call this natural selection's biggest failure

This happened to me know I am a server owner and discord disabled my account i emailed them only for them to say my account is being deleted cause I Self mass messaged people and that I'm not getting my account back I've sent like 30 emails only to get the same automated message and I'm very upset cause now I cannot manage my discord server if someone could contact someone for me I'd be very happy..

Hello, I clicked on this link https://discord-app.net/nitro/free/ that is a full scam but appears that sad face and message on the print. Am I safe? I didn't enter the site because it blocked and if I didn't enter it I didn't put any information about my account, so I'm safe?

Yes, this happened to me today. The link has been sent to all my friends and their steam accounts have been stolen.

What most nitro scam links do, is when you click and enter the website, execute a script that grabs your "Auth Token" If you dont know, an Auth Token is kind of a password that even the user can't get without "cheating", this kind of password can access your acount without your real password, your email/username or your phone and skips the 2FA proccess. A token can be regenerated, for example, changing your real password, as you did. So apparently there is no way they can get into your account right now at least you click another scam link OR they got into your account before changing your password and autoinfected your account, but that is very improbable as it has been 3 months aprox since this ocurred and apparently you didn't get hacked again. So don't worry.

My account got botted by dlscord scam a few months ago, I just changed my password and delete the messages in the DMS (including members from a group) and I’m fine.

Don't click anything with a link like this. 1 month of Discord Nitro free from STEAM (discrode-gift.club) Its obviously fake and you should check the links(The scammers have to misspell "Discord" Cuz they can't use the name)If you notice anything wrong in the link, dont click it.

fAnNysYoUrAuNTy it doesnt give stuff like trojans. It only hacks you accounts if you put in your info to steam or discord.

I just got this link yesterday https://discordnltro.xyz/billing/promotions/vy98rpaEJZnhh5x37agpmC0j the nitro's i was replaced by an L and I came here to check if this was legit. When I clicked the link, discord's security system said that link was a suspicious website and these websites might try to steal your account and get personal information

Remember, cookie grabbers like this can bypass 2 factor authentication so dont be suprised if you couldn't stop the hackers unless you changed your password.

it's a scam to steal a steam account, at least in my case, I don't know by what miracle but my best friends send it to me and when I ask them what's going on, they don't know what's going on at all .....0
