Payment Methods for School Institutions and Companies

Academia is entering the space of esports at a quick pace. High Schools and Colleges are actively increasing their efforts and support of esports and Discord is one of the many platforms they are using to connect to students, parents, and organizations in the esports space.

Anyone working an esports position at an educational institution will know the importance of Discord. One neat advantage that schools and companies have is that they can shoulder the cost of upgrading servers and accounts to enhance the experience for students or external partners.

I work as the Esports Program Coordinator at Kennesaw State and can speak from experience that paying for anything in the field of academia isn't as simple as asking for a credit card making a payment and returning a credit card. This isn't the case at companies either. Being able to receive invoices or setting up accounts with recurring payments for school institutions are two solutions that can make using Discord a lot easier for schools and companies.
