Stopping Hackers and DMs in genreal from people you don't know

The worst thing about this platform is the number of scam artists that hang around and drop dm you loads of dodgy links to crazy crypto crap.

You need to prevent people from being able to send this stuff to you without first being on your friends list or at least seeking approval. There is no safeguarding and it sucks because a lot of people don't understand the platform.

Security first, make it much more difficult for people to DM and if they do DM only allow a certain number of new DMs in a 24h time period to stop the spamming.

    If you didn't know, there is a setting in Discord that you can change below:

    Switching this setting off will deny anybody who isn't your friend to be able to DM you.
