Messages in desktop don't always load even if taskbar shows new messages are waiting
Hey. The issue I'm about to describe has been going on for nearly a year now so bear with me waiting so long to come report; I assumed it might have already been noticed and would eventually get it fixed.
When running the Discord app for Windows on Windows 10, I have most of my servers set to not do desktop or push notifications but still light up with the typical unread messages channel highlight and the red dot on the taskbar icon. Sometimes when channels I am not presently viewing receive new chats, they do not live-load into the Discord client (regardless of whether I have the Discord window in focus or not) even though the taskbar icon shows me the red dot. The only way to get these new chats to show up is by clicking to another application to bring that into focus and then clicking back into Discord. This also happens regardless of whether the channel was inside a collapsed category or not; either way I still have to click out to anything else in Windows and click back to Discord to get it to load these messages.
Has no one else really noticed this? As I am typically checking Discord as a passive thing while working from home on a separate work device, it is a major annoyance that I cannot always live-track activity on whatever server I am watching due to this issue.

I think this might be a rendering thing. If I click out of the Discord desktop window while someone is typing, the animation for them typing eventually freezes. Could be related, at any rate.
