More Group Chat Features

I'm in a group chat, and I just wanted to look through some of our history. 

Maybe an option in the search bar for the from: filter to show everyone's messages, and show a counter of the total messages sent in the group chat. One of my friends had deleted his old account, and we used to be able to search from: Deleted User#0000 and it would show the total message count of the group, even including the deleted account. Readding this or adding a dedicated feature would be appreciated.
