Problem with discord

Hello, just wanted you guys know that something weird happened tonight, I was happily watching a movie (everyone on their own netflix) with some friends on discord, at some point one of them kicked me out of the VC, and that was the moment when discord decided it was time to update. I don't know what went wrong, my pc got very sluggish, and when discord asked for permission to write files in the disk something happened, my pc completely became crazy and everything I clicked would open multiple times, the icons on my desktop would become highlited and many other weird things. After that I proceeded to restart the pc, when I did that I noticed that all of my desktop icons were gone, not the files which were accessibile by windows explorer, only the icons. I guess the installation corrupted something? In the end i fixed it but i just wanted to put this here
