Alternative 18+ Management Rules/Regulations

I've posted on Twitter regarding this, also, but I imagine this will help raise awareness too. I saw the recent changes regarding 18+ regulations, and I feel they're too regressive an approach. The trend seems to be that to abide by legal standards, Discord cuts 18+ content out to avoid it entirely; this method is unfair to 18+ users who still desire to use different functions in adult ways, and cannot because of children who meander freely through the application.

Instead of saying, "no 18+ content in any of these features", I recommend the following:

• This is the biggest and most important one, to me: add a User Account setting that toggles whether or not an account is owned by an 18+ individual. You can attach some sort of verification to this if you wish, such as cards or ID, but you could also just include a legal notice upon trying to activate it explicitly stipulating that if the option is toggled, the user is agreeing that they are 18+, and Discord is not responsible for a minor viewing NSFW content through that account. This way, 18+ users can have access to 18+ content the same as they did before, Discord is still all-ages-friendly at base, and there's a new and easier way to censor NSFW content for non-18+ users, which I reference use of in later points of the list.
• Give servers and server owners new settings that allow them to lock emojis and stickers from exterior use via Nitro. While this may take certain servers' content away from Nitro users, it will allow them to use their 18+ emojis and stickers without risk of a user using them in non-18+ environments. Additionally or alternatively, the emojis and stickers of a server marked as 18+/NSFW could be censored or not shown for users without the 18+ toggle active. This is a little more in-depth on the programming side and iffy, but allows Nitro users the same accessibility to emojis and stickers they had prior without endangering the innocence of little eight-year-old Tommy on his way to the LoL Discord server.
• This one is a relatively straightforward use of the 18+ toggle mentioned previously: censor all banners, avatars, and icons of servers marked as 18+/NSFW for users that do not have the 18+ toggle active. This way, 18+/NSFW servers may still use the avatars, icons, and banners they had before without risking minors seeing them, even in invites.

All in all, it kind of feels at present like Discord has been focusing so much on child safety that they're ignoring and punishing their 18+ users. Instead of continuing this trend, why not solve your problem by upgrading accessibility for minors AND adults?
