New 'Member Since' feature secretly added to Discord
Discord has recently added a new 'Member Since' feature on the user's connections tab without telling anyone, probably one of the most community requested features ever. Even though it has some weird requirements I still find I highly useful as before I had to go to a third-party website to check someone's account creation date.
How to obtain
For some reason, Discord has locked this feature to only be available to people that have some sort of connection with the 'Display on profile' option enabled. Either way this is the only way to have the 'Member Since' feature displayed on your profile.
- Navigate to User Settings > Connections
- Add any account to your profile (skip to step 3 if you already have one)
- Make sure to enable the 'Display on profile' option
-
Ok, but how do I disable it?

I currently do not have any displayed connections yet I still have this. I would like to remove it. Do I need to remove all of my connections? Because I will do that if necessary..

I STRONGLY disagree with the new 'Member Since' feature on Discord. It discriminates against new users and only serves to oppress them, without solving any real problems. This feature is unjust and unacceptable. Instead of singling out and targeting new members, we should focus on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all users. Let's find better solutions that don't discriminate or oppress anyone.

I have a linked account and I've enabled Display on Profile. It only shows how long I've had the connected account, not my Discord account creation date.
