How Long Till Discord Faces a Class Action lawsuit?
Disclaimer: Not a suggestion post, just some thoughts. Doesn’t matter regardless since Discord does not care about this feedback site anyway 😴
So, it’s pretty obvious by now that Discord is actively ignoring Support tickets and requests or choosing to respond to some. I don’t know the details of what’s going on internally but what’s clear is that it’s BEEN going on for a while now. And it’s 5 months into 2023.
The main issues I’m noticing arising from the complaints are financial issues and security issues whether it’s with 2FA lockouts enabled by hackers or Discord not being efficient enough to prevent financial fraud through Nitro subscriptions.
Oh and another one is users’s accounts being randomly disabled without any valid reason and Discord taking forever to reinstate the accounts. And then, sometimes they don’t, and it gets deleted.
Sooner or later, Discord will likely face some legal action regarding this because of their fragile security system and astonishing lack of concern for it.
What do you think will make them react first - a lawsuit of some sort or constant harassment and negative reviews and complaints plastered over their social media accounts?
I think the former at this point because as I said they’re actively choosing to ignore any feedback.

Neither, maybe a lawsuit would help

@Damarib511
Honestly, you could charge back if it was a fraudulent purchase0 -
No i mistaken a purchase filed a claim they disabled the account. 2 days later I made 2 tickets show that the claims are both closed skip 5 days ahead and they still will not respond.

Oh that's dumb. I find it dumb they disable the account if you chargeback, even on fraudulent charges
