Please Do Not Roll Out New Usernames

i, along with many other people it seems, find the upcoming username forced change very bad. the tags are Not difficult and honestly i prefer them, as it keeps your account more private rather than anyone being able to just type in a word and find you. also, there is no issue on having to remember them, as you can copy and paste your full username + tag on both mobile and desktop.

the new usernames allow for less creativity as well as lower privacy and are generally just not a good idea. discord please listen to the community on this one and do not roll out the change.

    Support. The new usernames are a solution to a problem that does not exist. I don't know why Discord insists on continuing to make ridiculous, unwanted alterations to their platform that make it actively worse and drive people away.

    It's a really bad idea. It's a really stupid idea. I cancelled my nitro over it. I made an account and came here to write 100 comments pissed off about how stupid of an idea it is.
