Million posts like this one. You get the point, don’t change the username system or there’s going to be a ton of problems. Theres zero reason to backtrack to such a primitive way of keeping an identity online. The only reason I used discord so much was the anonymity that comes with its current username system. Just cancelled my nitro, and im sure plenty of people have done the same. Unless you backtrack this decision i’ll be looking for a messaging app that doesn’t want to pretend its social media.
