Cannot access text channel on server with Discord app on iPhone 7

When I attempt to access a text channel Discord fails to display any message(s). Instead it activates a keyboard to use to compose a message and does not display any of my input while I use it. Of course, poking the blue Done just closes the keyboard. As far as I know the message was not posted and I cannot access it regardless. After I get my computer working again this misadventure in Hell we become a bad memory, I hope and pray. Of all the “apps” that I have downloaded and installed Discord is the worst if only because it is useless!!!
