Customizing Mention Text

While it's not necessarily a heavily requested feature, with the recent changes Discord has made to things like mentions, a lot of people I know have been complaining that the old mention text looked better. To state it better, when the mention text got changed to white text, with a purple highlight, a lot of people didn't like it.

The solution? In my opinion, the easiest solution would be to allow users to customize the mentions. Give them the ability to change the text colour of the mention, the background colour of the message, and even the colour of the text highlight. That way, people can change mentions to look like how they did before, or even make it look like something completely different. In general, it would give more customization options to the users.
