I changed my discord email to the same email that was on a disabled account

I changed my discord email to the same email that was on a disabled account and now i cant get access to it or even change the email, it just says your account has been disabled. anyone know why this has happened? could the email be blacklisted since the original account with that email was disabled?

    unfortunately you are correct. if an email or phone number become associated with an account that becomes disabled, any future association of specific phone/email becomes disabled to prevent circumvention of action. it’s stupid but unfortunately your best bet is making a new account

    dang, thing is im not even sure what i did on my old accoun that got disabled/banned.
