No Response to Age Appeal
Hi there,
My account was disabled on the 6th of December due to ‘indicating that I am underage’. I have sent proof of me being 22 years old and have yet to have a reply. I use Discord for 2 of my classes that are run through servers, and have been a Nitro and Discord user since 2018. I would like a human response soon if possible, as it is urgent for me to access these classes to not jeopardize my grades. Along with that it would be extremely depressing to lose my account over something that is not my fault. I am way over the age needed to be to use Discord, and would greatly appreciate any form of response to get my account re-enabled, since I have already sent the proof (I have sent a photo of me with my photo id, showing my birthdate and my discord username handwritten on a piece of paper.) I have sent in tickets with no response, asked the Discord support team on twitter with no response, and have even messaged via Insta, no response. Is there an ETA when Trust and Safety will update my verification of my age?
I am seeing so many people with this same issue, and I hope that it will all be resolved soon. Thank you guys for reading.

Yeah it is beginning to worry me and I'm getting super anxious. I use it for 2 of my classes and on top of that so many memories and so much stuff I've worked towards, I am no longer able to access it T-T

Assuming you have yet to receive a reply on your appeal, let me provide some insights that could potentially help clear up any confusion and also lessen your worries. As you may know, the feedback forums are full of people claiming their accounts were disabled wrongfully, this will further help you understand my point I'll be getting to.
There are a lot of users creating appeals for all sorts of different reasons, and the appeals team isn't the largest, so having a large number of requests doesn't help their case at all. Fortunately for you, you were disabled with a reason that can actually get your account reinstated with no questions asked. If you've submitted the appeal and included the ID Verification it may take up to 14 days before your appeal is attended to.
Rest assured your account will remain active as long as you provided a well-lit photo of identification.

I'm 25, got reported for being under the age of 13,
made multiple tickets due to them constantly marked as ‘solved’ with no actual response nor corrective action being made.
Been a member since 2015, with nitro since then as well (roughly) --Discord is very helpful for keeping up with teams and projects, so I /need/ that account.

Yea it's been 8 days for me now, does anyone know how long it takes for a disabled account to be fully deleted?

Haunt Just curious, if I made an appeal 8 days ago when my account was disabled - does they really disable it after 14 days even though I made an appeal right away? I did my part, I'm just waiting on them to see my appeal - I would be devastated if I lost my account on day 14 when no one has seen my appeal yet. (Sorry to bug you)

Howdy sadmuseum!
No, your account is not deleted after 14 days. Your account is deleted after 31 days if not reinstated by the appeals team. If you'd like for me to be exact, your account is deleted off the platform entirely after the same day of the next month comes up.
Example: Your account was disabled on 12/07/23 XX:XX, your account will become fully deleted on 01/07/24 XX:XX.
Again, no need to worry though! Your appeal will be reviewed before that time frame expires and you'll have access to your account again.

Update: Day 10 - Support has merged my requests ( I accidentally submitted 2 tickets ) and I asked if any other information was needed - Still no reply but they replied saying that they merged my two tickets 2 days ago - I will continue to update this as things happen!

So if they don't respond in 30 days your account gets deleted how would this be fair in any way to the user cause from what I saw people have been going from one month to almost a YEAR with no response which scares me because I sent one 5-6 days ago and scared I haven't got a response I put my ID, and username on paper with my face hoping it gets reinstated, I have 0 ticket number and 0 information I feel like discord isn't transparent with people and felt worse and worse every year

I've been banned twice now for being “underage”, and the first time I've sent a report ticket I managed to get my account back in 10 days. Although this time I've been banned again and its been 10 days aswell since i've made a ticket and I still havent gotten a response back. I used an ID and everything. I don't want to have my account from 2018 deleted so any advice how I can get my account back?

My account got disabled 4 days ago for being underage when I’m 25 years old. I technically have 4 tickets about the situation. 1st I initially made through the email which directed me to the forum, 2nd I made in the wrong category, 3rd I made correctly but it was marked “solved” even though my account is still disabled. Made a 4th one today and I’m sticking with it till the bitter end. But has the severely damaged my chances of getting my account back?0 -
Kind of in the same situation but its been 14 days for me and im slowly losing hope in this , but the thing is that I didn't get disabled for being underage yet they still made me verify my age. They now disable accounts whenever they see someone say they are younger than 13 even as a joke. For now all you can do is wait for a response from them. Make sure u dont spam multiple multiple tickets because apparently you will get put back to queue and itll take longer for them to check your ticket or even respond to it. Right now i have 4 opened tickets and in still waiting for an answer while other of my tickets were marked as solved.. if all ur tickets get marked as solved create another one. I'm not sure how else i can help you

Haunt wanted to mention ive been waiting 15 days after my account was disabled and for 9 days after i verified, 15 days with my account and i didn't get disabled for being underage yet they said i should verify my age (this is the second time i do so but its like out of the reason why i actually got disabled) do u think itll take more or not ?? They keep marking tickets as solved..
