Deleted account being asked to update user name
I deleted my Discord account because I had never used it and now I am being asked to change my user name?
I even had to get a password to sign in to ask about this!

Well, I guess I get to keep my account.
It was “Discord account is scheduled to be deleted on Sep 1, 2023".
I guess they don't actually delete accounts because why would they.
