Disable Mic grant permission pop-up
Hi,
I'm using discord desktop app on macbook with osx sonoma 14.4.
In OSX system preferences I have not granted access to the microphone. And I don't want to give it away.
I use voice chats and transfer to playstation. The discord desktop app remains open.
Every time I mute/unmute the microphone on the PlayStation, the "Grant Permission" pop-up appears in the Discord desktop app. The popup requires action to close.
If I mute/unmute the microphone 20 times, I get 20 pop-ups and I have to press the “Cancel” button 20 times to make the pop-up disappear and be able to use the desktop app again.
It's really annoying!
Please add an option to disable this warning!

To disable the microphone permission pop-up in the Discord desktop app on macOS (OS X), you can follow these steps:
Open System Preferences: Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to Security & Privacy: In the System Preferences window, find and click on the "Security & Privacy" icon.
Click on the Privacy Tab: Once you're in the Security & Privacy preferences, click on the "Privacy" tab at the top of the window.
Select Microphone: In the left sidebar of the Privacy tab, locate and click on "Microphone."
Adjust Permissions for Discord: You should see a list of applications that have requested access to your microphone. Find Discord in the list and uncheck the box next to it to revoke its microphone access.
Restart Discord: After disabling microphone access for Discord, close the Discord app completely and then reopen it.
By following these steps, you should disable the microphone permission pop-up in the Discord desktop app on your macOS (OS X) system. Please note that disabling microphone access for Discord will prevent it from accessing your microphone, so you won't be able to use voice chat or other microphone-related features in the app.
