Discord, Please PLEASE hear my prayers.

Slack sucks, Teams is… well teams is strangling my company alive, and every other chat and coms system frankly sucks.

Every engineer knows discord, everyone else can learn it easily, will you PLEASE, PLEASE, release a corporate or enterprise version.

Look you dont even need to handle ISO 27001 or SOC 2 yourself.  Just give us the ability to host the server on our instance, let us encrypt the stored server data, and we license your software for use.  We wrap it all under OUR compliance schedules, on our servers, and bam! No issue, the instance would just run on our Azure or AWS account under our protection, and get a ping from you guys every month or so just to say “hi, they are still paying on time”

You could charge the whole thing on the equivalent of a Nitro sub a seat and it would be a steal.

Not being a host but instead just a software license puts you in the same category as running GIMP or Blender on a work computer in the office, its covered by our policies and procedures, you just need to check it with a kill switch if the check bounces.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, Tell me this is on the table.     

I'm off to go jump in a teams meeting about how slack failed to meet our requirements by being shitty, and lacking a proper reply quote function.
