False Child Safety Ban
Hey, I was sharing a spicy image with one of my friends (we are both over the age of consent) and then got instantly hit with a child and safety strike, then I went to appeal it and got instantly banned. I genuinely don't get why it did this, the image in question is NOT Cheese Pizza, it's been around the internet for over a decade and has been reuploaded to other websites such as Reddit too, where I found it. I can only assume that the AI Detection falsely flagged the image, I've sent an email to support but haven't gotten an answer yet, I'm not IP banned either, my account just got suspended.
My question is, do I gotta fear about repercussions? The email I got sent when I got banned said that they might report it to law enforcement, even though I didn't do anything incriminating I'm still really scared that I'll get a visit on my doorstep. Does anyone know strict Discord are with these claims, and if they actually follow through? I've heard cases of Discord just not doing anything about these, and how do they function when the person is in another country? Overall I'm just really distraught. I did nothing wrong to my understanding. Can anyone relive some of the worry and stress?

Happened the same to me, although it's for a much dumber reason.
Seems basically joining a fully locked server you have 0 contanct, is enough for them.

I also got falsely banned for the same reason, but it's a different story. Leave it to Discord's MIA support team to completely dismiss the abuse of the reporting system.

same, posted this picture , clearly a girl asleep - the picture has been posted all over the internet just like in your case - twitter, reddit, facebook, etc. (and the link i included is from soundcloud)
a troll user said it's “cp” and reported it, got banned moments later
not ip banned either, my situation is literally the same as yours
but the best thing is, i had a grooming report from a year ago back when i was underage, and it never received any activity until i mentioned it in my appeal which WAS DENIED, despite providing the same explanation as here. i added a reply to the ticket which received a response pointing out this absurdity, hopefully a real person will reply to me this time because there's no way anyone but a bot has reviewed my case

I understand it may be in poor taste, but that doesn't mean it's CP.
Reverse search the image and see how many platforms have allowed it to prevail for so many years.

Personally, as a real-life CSA victim, I just don't agree. It may be distasteful, but it's not WEIRD, and I feel like someone with authority on the matter. It seems every other major internet site agrees. If you see something weird, then you're the weird one.
Bottom line is, these appeals should be looked at on a case-by-case basis. How is it supposed to make sense for someone with, again, a GROOMING REPORT in the process of being reviewed, to be banned for “Child Safety”, just a year after becoming an adult??? For an inherently non-weird image, that was posted in a non-weird context, which was presented in a bad light by a malicious user? Why would I appeal the decision, and ESPECIALLY post here otherwise??? I mean, discord has access to logs - they are able to confirm everything outside of what's APPARENTLY subjective, and I've let them know the context.

The stupid part of it all is that I was told to create a ticket regarding my account suspension and it instantly got denied and “solved” without the support agent reading the contents inside.2 -

worst part, i think they dont even look at the appeals or anything else, and i have the feeloing they just accept the ban and enforce it even more

I haven’t used discord in 6+ months and was randomly hit with this. I can’t even figure out how to not pay for nitro in the discord app. The app banned me for a full 24 hours. I can’t send, like, tsp, nothing.. and I also can’t figure out how to cancel my nitro RIP. Haven’t used discord in almost a year… ban me plz!

two months? what has your experience been with tickets so far? any real person review?
ive had a ticket for about a month now, and it just finally got “human” review. they assigned it to a guy named usagi tsukino but all it was is a copy pasted bot response. no actual reviewing has been done yet.

I panicked and filed an dozen tickets cuz I didn't knew how their system worked. And there's hardly any documentation on what to do but to sit and wait as they close them
