Appealing unfair account violation
Hi,
My account was given a violation a few days ago for “belonging to a server which violated ToS rules against violent extremism”. This is very unfair since I had joined it only they day before and was unaware of any such extremism and ToS violations taking place. The server called itself “Project Patriot” and advertised on disboard as a Republican pro-Trump server which I joined because I was looking for debating with people who supported his re-election. I barely said a thing in the server after cursorily looking at it. Why should I be punished for the actions of others? Why is my account in violation simply for having been unknowingly in a server that violated ToS? I’ve reached out through the official support system which gives completely unsatisfactory, automated responses. I’ve gotten the same response twice after requesting an actual person take care of my case. This is not only TERRIBLE customer service but also ridiculous treatment of users. Basically, what this says is if someone was in that server for years (participating in the egregious violations) and left the day before discord took it down, their account would not get any punishment; but because I saw an advertisement on Disboard (that said nothing of its violent extremism) the day before Discord took it down, I get a violation DESPITE never having participated in said ToS violations. Absolutely ridiculous and horrendous customer service and ToS application procedures. I request someone, a human employee, to actually assist me in this. Thanks.

Its absolutely ridiculous a Pro Trump republican server is striked as violent extremism. I am not even Trump supporter but that's simply wrong.

That combined with the new wave of people getting suspended for other reasons is absurd.
I really hope Discord's Trust and Safety reverses all these false reports and takes care of their users.
