Microphone not working on pixel 3 xl (android pie)

UPDATE, found a workaround on this Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/9wawr3/fix_pixel_3_discord_microphone_issues/

  1. Go to settings -> Voice and Video -> Low Latency Hardware Acceleration -> select "Force calls to use OpenSL ES.

  2. Force stop discord and reopen it.

No microphone activity at all, no activity on the green bar in the Voice Settings. I have a Pixel 3XL and I'm running Android Pie.

My microphone works for every app except Discord.
